An Original Vintage Autographed Deluxe 4" x 6" [10 x 15 cm] Fan Photo (Learn More) Jean Marais was a leading French actor from the 1920s to the 1990s. He made several movies with director Jean Cocteau, and he is certainly best remembered for his starring role as the Beast in "La Belle et la Bete" (Beauty and the Beast). Some of his other movies include: Orphee, Le Notti Bianche ("White Nights"), and Drole de Drame ou L'etrange Aventure du Docteur Molyneux ("Bizarre, Bizarre"). He passed away in 1998 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Jean Marais! He personalized it and added a long inscription. Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe fan photo printed on double weight paper stock.
