An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Marguerite Clark was a leading actress from the 1910s to the 1920s. She started in 1914 when she was 31, but she was very small and child-like, and she had no trouble passing for a teenager! She was extremely popular in the late 1910s, but she hated acting, and she planned to retire "at the top". In 1921, she was voted the favorite female actress by the Quigley poll, and she promptly retired! Some of her movies include: Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch, Snow White, and Come Out of the Kitchen. Clark passed away in 1940 at the age of 57. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Marguerite Clark! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
