Zanuck) starring Henry Fonda (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Tom Joad), Jane Darwell (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Ma Joad), Charley Grapewin (as Grandpa Joad), Russell Simpson (as Pa Joad), John Carradine (as Jim Casy), Dorris Bowdon (as Rose-of-Sharon Rivers, spelled as "Rosasharn" in the movie credits), Zeffie Tilbury (as Grandma Joad), Frank Darien (as Uncle John Joad), Eddie Quillan (as Connie Rivers), John Qualen (as Muley Graves), Kitty McHugh (as the diner waitress, in one of the movie's most poignant scenes), Darryl Hickman (as Winfield Joad), and Shirley Mills (as Ruthie Joad). Note that this is one of the very rare cases where a really great book is turned into a really great movie! Important Added Info: Note that this still is from a special set of "color glos" lobby cards, which means it was printed on a photo type of paper and have a glossier front, with more vivid colors. This is something the studios experimented with in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There is brown paper tape on the back of the right and bottom borders. There is paper loss in the top left corner and a tape repair to the right of that.
