An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Fury, the classic 1936 Fritz Lang mob-violence-and-its-aftermath crime melodrama ("Based on a story by Norman Krasna"; about a man who is a victim of an angry mob, and he is trapped in a building and left to burn to death; he survives, but remains hidden, and the members of the mob are put on trial for his "death") starring Sylvia Sidney, Spencer Tracy, Walter Abel, Walter Brennan, Eddie Quillan, Bruce Cabot, Frank Albertson, and George Walcott. Note that this is a VERY "dark" movie, reflective of Fritz Lang's world view, having recently escaped Nazi Germany, and of course, the world itself had a similar view, with Adolf Hitler's rise to power. Yet it is also a very powerful movie, and many consider it among Fritz Lang's very best movies, which is saying a lot! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
