Created by Steve Ditko (Stan Lee was credited as co-creator, but he publicly admitted that it was entirely Steve Ditko's creation), the character first appeared in 1963. Doctor Strange serves as the Sorcerer Supreme, the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats. Some of his enemies include: Baron Mordo, D'Spayre, and Dormammu.
