An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Sons O' Guns, the 1936 Lloyd Bacon World War I (WWI) military mistaken identity musical romantic comedy ("Music and Lyrics by Harry Warren and Al Dubin"; "Joe joins Joan in the year's biggest song and laugh show!"; about a mild-mannered song-and-dance man who wears an army uniform for a sketch, but through a series of mistakes, he ends up fighting in Germany; after being accused of being an enemy spy, he escapes and captures an important position, and is awarded the Croix de Guerre!) starring Joe E. Brown, Joan Blondell, Beverly Roberts, Eric Blore, Winifred Shaw, Craig Reynolds, Joseph King, and Robert Barrat NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the playdates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
