NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Theophile Alexandre Steinlen Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and very minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in really nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great! Note that the restorer left extra linen around the edges of the poster (beyond the excess linen that has rice paper on it), and that excess linen has many creases in it, but it has no effect whatsoever on the poster itself (and any restorer or talented amateur could easily trim off that "extra" excess linen).
