An Unfolded French Special Poster (measures 35 1/2" x 45 1/2" [90 x 116 cm]) (Learn More) The Bofors 40mm gun, often referred to as the Bofors Gun, is an anti-aircraft autocannon designed in the 1930s by the Swedish arms manufacturer AB Bofors. It was one of the most popular medium-weight anti-aircraft systems during World War II (WWII), used by most of the western Allies as well as some captured systems being used by the Axis powers. A small number of these weapons remain in service to this day, and saw action as late as the Persian Gulf War. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There is an area of paper loss at right (a possible burn - see our image). The remaining areas of the poster are in pretty nice condition but please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
