An Original Vintage Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Natalie Wood was an actress from the 1940s to the 1980s. She is one of the small number of child stars who successfully transitioned to both adolescent roles and leading actress roles. Some of her movies include: Love With The Proper Stranger (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), West Side Story, The Searchers, Rebel Without A Cause (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Miracle on 34th Street, The Great Race, and Splendor In The Grass (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film). Tragically, she died under suspicious circumstances in 1981 in a drowning incident. She was 43 years old. AND Lana Wood is an actress from the 1940s to the present. She is the sister of Natalie Wood. She is probably best remembered for playing the Bond Girl Plenty O'Toole in "Diamonds Are Forever", and she had a role on TV's "Peyton Place", and did much other TV, with a few movies. As of 2020, she is still alive at the age of 74! Important Added Info: Note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. There is a 1959 date stamp on the back, but that probably is from when the photo was last used, and the image was likely taken in the mid 1950s, when Lana Wood would have been around 10 years old. If anyone knows exactly when it dates from, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. The still is lightly rippled across the top, but it is mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light, and there are tiny creases in three blank corners.
