Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Baree, Son of Kazan, the 1925 David Smith silent heroic Pacific Northwest canine sled dog romantic adventure melodrama (based on the novel by James Oliver Curwood) starring Anita Stewart, Donald Keith, Jack Curtis, Joe Rickson, and Wolf (the dog; in the title role as Baree). Note that Wolf the dog only appeared in this movie and in 1937's "Swing Professor", and we could find no more information about him. If anyone knows more about Wolf, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a hand-colored card. In the days of silent movie prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match. Condition: very good. There are pinholes and tiny smudges around the edges of the card.
