An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Gorilla at Large, the 1954 Harmon Jones 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) murder mystery crime circus carnival horror thriller ("The hate-beast who lives to kill is loose!"; "Leonard Goldstein presents Gorilla at Large"; "Get out of his way... before it's too late as he unleashes a terror never known by mortal man before!"; "Written by Leonard Praskins and Barney Slater") starring Cameron Mitchell, Anne Bancroft (in her fifth movie role!), Lee J. Cobb, Raymond Burr, Charlotte Austin, Peter Whitney, Lee Marvin, Warren Stevens, John G. Kellogg, and George Barrows (uncredited as Goliath the Gorilla!). Note that George Barrows had a handful of roles playing gorillas in movies, and he even played the lead character in "Robot Monster". He seems to have become Hollywood's leading "gorilla performer" once the top ones of the 1930s and 1940s (Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, Charles Gemora, Emil Van Horn, and Jack Leonard) quit playing gorillas!
