The Gay Defender, the 1927 Gregory La Cava silent Old California Gold Rush romantic adventure melodrama ("Story by Grover Jones"; Dix plays an "aristocratic youth" who turns into a "terrorizing night-riding Robin Hood") starring Richard Dix, Thelma Todd (in an early role), Fred Kohler, Jerry Mandy, and Robert Brower. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: very good. Someone glued a page from a travel magazine to the back of most of the card. There are pinholes in the corners and some faint stains around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition!
