An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Abbott and Costello, the circa 1950s stock poster featuring art and images of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. Theaters would order this poster which had a large blank area for the title of the film being shown. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, sometimes they sent paper snipes with the specific titles, and sometimes theater-owners simply wrote the title of the films in the blank area. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with tape from the back that may bleed through to the front. The poster has discoloration scattered throughout and much marker writing on the back that slightly bleeds through to the front near center. There are tape stains around the edges (the original tape was not used for any restoration purpose). Learn More about condition grades
