Auction History Result 7h0505 LOT OF 8 UNFOLDED SINGLE-SIDED 27X40 BOYZ N THE HOOD ONE-SHEETS 1991 Ice Cube, Gooding Jr. Date Sold 9/29/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 8 unfolded single-sided 27x40 one-sheets from Boyz N the Hood, the 1991 John Singleton (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Los Angeles California black African American ghetto crime thriller ("Once upon a time in South Central L.A."; "It ain't no fairy tale."; "Increase the peace") starring Laurence Fishburne (billed as "Larry Fishburne as Furious"), Cuba Gooding Jr., Ice Cube (in his first movie role!), Morris Chestnut, Nia Long, Angela Bassett, and Regina King (in her first movie role!). IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all of them! Measurements: 27" x 40"Condition: fair. Note that a distributor wanted to mark these to be thrown away, and they put a 1/2" diameter circular hole in the upper center of the image of all the posters (in Gooding's neck). Also, the posters were never machine folded, but they were stored partially folded in groups, which resulted in some horizontal creases and "waves" scattered through the posters. Please do not bid on these posters unless you can accept these significant defects. We have only pictured one of the posters, but all of them are in similar condition.
