The next... You're trapped with 294 other guests in the middle of a fiery hell."; "The tallest building in the world is on fire. You are there with 294 other guests. There's no way down. There's no way out."; "Hundreds trapped by flames on 135th floor of World's Tallest building"; "Day of Dedication Becomes Night of Blazing Terror"; "Rescue efforts hampered by explosions, High winds"; "Mayor, Senator among Notables Periled"; "Based on the novels 'The Tower' by Richard Martin Stern and 'The Glass Inferno' by Thomas N. Scortia and Frank M. Robinson"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Steve McQueen ("as O'Hallorhan The Fire Chief"), Paul Newman ("as Roberts The Architect"), William Holden ("as Duncan The Builder"), Faye Dunaway ("as Susan The Girl Friend"), Fred Astaire (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; "as Harlee The Con Man"), Susan Blakely ("as Patty The Wife"), Richard Chamberlain ("as Simmons The Son-In-Law"), Jennifer Jones ("as Lisolette The Widow"), O.J. Simpson ("as Jernigan The Security Man"), Robert Vaughn ("as Parker The Senator"), and Robert Wagner ("as Bigelow The Publicity Man"). Note that this movie was originally two competing productions from two different studios, Warner Bros. and 20th Century-Fox (based on two similar books, "The Tower" by Richard Martin Stern, and "The Glass Inferno" by Thomas N. Scortia), and the studios wisely chose to instead collaborate on a single movie, which resulted in a pretty amazing all-star cast, and one of the very best movies of its kind! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: John Berkey Important Added Info: Note that this poster was somewhat tri-folded. What does that mean? Some posters were stored in a tri-folded fashion, but where someone took a group of posters and then tri-folded the entire group. This means that many of the posters have only a slight "waviness" one third of the way from the top and the bottom of the poster, but they are not actual folds. They are normally not very noticeable at all from the front of the poster, but they can be seen from the back of the poster, and they mean that the poster does not lay 100% flat. These "waves" greatly diminish if the poster is put under weight for a time, and become almost completely invisible. Most collectors consider them a very minor defect, much less of a defect than actual foldlines. Also note that this poster will be shipped rolled in a tube. Condition: very good.
