Sherwood"; a biography of former United States President Abraham Lincoln) starring Raymond Massey (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Abraham Lincoln), Gene Lockhart (as Stephen Douglas), Ruth Gordon (as Mary Todd Lincoln), Mary Howard (as Ann Rutledge), Dorothy Tree, Harvey Stephens, Minor Watson, and Alan Baxter

Condition: good to very good. There is a tack hole at right in Massey's coat and another at left in his foot and there are several scattered around the edges of the poster in border and background areas (most repaired with small pieces of conservation tape from the back). There is minor separation at each crossfold and ends of the foldlines and there are areas of tattering around the edges of the poster (repaired with brown paper tape from the back). There are some creases scattered throughout the poster but they are mostly along the foldlines and around the edges. There is writing on the back of the poster that very slightly bleeds through to the front at lower left and right in the credits area.
