An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Victor McLaglen was an English actor (of Irish descent) from the 1920s to the 1950s. He was a giant man who was a boxer who turned to acting. Some of his movies include: The Quiet Man (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), The Informer (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and countless John Ford movies, including many with John Wayne! Note that although McLaglen was the quintessential Irish actor in movies of the 1920s on, he was in fact NOT Irish, and was born in England! He passed away in 1959 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Victor McLaglen! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good.
