An Original Vintage Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Boy Meets Girl, the 1938 Lloyd Bacon Hollywood screenwriter movie-making romantic screwball comedy ("The season's laugh treat!"; "Stage play produced by George Abbott"; about a pair of Hollywood screenwriters who are assigned to write a screenplay for the studio's top cowboy star, whose career has been going downhill lately) starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, Marie Wilson, Ralph Bellamy, Frank McHugh, Dick Foran, and Ronald Reagan. Note that this was one of those "inside" Hollywood movies that get made from time to time. The screenwriters are obviously based on Hecht and McArthur, and the studio president is based on Darryl Zanuck! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has darkened (more so around the edges), typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period, but the card is not at all fragile, which is a big plus. There is a tiny bit of surface paper loss scattered down the left edge. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
