Auction History Result a770 JUMPIN' JACK FLASH 7 movie lobby cards '86 Whoopi Goldberg Date Sold 8/2/2005Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 7 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measure 11" x 14") (Learn More) Jumpin' Jack Flash, the 1986 Penny Marshall romantic action comedy ("A man named Jack has got her Jumpin' and the world may never be the same!"; "An Adventure in Comedy") starring Whoopi Goldberg, Stephen Collins, John Wood, Annie Potts, Carol Kane, Jonathan Pryce (in the title role as Jack), Jon Lovitz, Phil Hartman, James Belushi, and Tracey Ullman. Note that Burt Reynolds was originally set to direct this movie, but he had a falling out with producer Joel Silver, and Howard Zieff was hired. Jon Lovitz auditioned for Zieff, but did not get the part. When Penny Marshall took over as director, she learned that Lovitz had auditioned and offered him the part, and he accepted. Shelley Long was originally cast to play the lead role, but she left and Whoopi Goldberg was hired instead. Along with the multiple changes of directors and cast members, the movie went through many different scripts by many different screenwriters, and was revised many, many times!
