Brannon female archer crime action serial ("A Republic Serial in 12 Chapters") starring Lorna Gray (in the title role as Dolores Quantero, the daughter of Don Q; billed as "Adrian Booth"), Kirk Alyn (best remembered for playing the first live action Superman!), LeRoy Mason, Roy Barcroft, and Claire Meade NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this set of eight lobby cards has six cards that were personally autographed (signed) by different stars, with two stars signing two of the cards. The signatures are as follows: title card and two scenes signed by Kirk Alyn and Roy Barcroft, two scenes signed by Kirk Alyn alone, and one scene is signed by Roy Barcroft alone (see our images to see which cards are which)! Our consignor is in the movie business and over 50 years ago he attended an event at the back lot of Republic Studios, and there were TV stars and old western and serial stars present. Our consignor was already a poster collector, and he brought this set of cardswith him (together with some other items) to be signed by celebrities who were present, and in the case of this lobby card set, he was able to get Kirk Alyn and Roy Barcroft to sign the cards they appeared in, as indicated above (he also got some other cards signed at that event, and we are auctioning them in separate auctions). He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are 100% certain the signatures are authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good to fine. The cards have some minor wear around the edges (pretty minor and varying from card to card), but otherwise, they are in really nice condition, especially considering their age!
