An Unfolded French Advertising Poster (measures 19 3/4" x 27 1/2" [50 x 70 cm]) (Learn More)

Taittinger is a French wine family who are famous producers of high quality champagne. The company was founded in 1734 by Jacques Fourneau and the Taittinger Champagne house is currently based in Reims, France. The flagship wines of the house are the Comtes de Champagne and Comtes de Champagne Rose.

Important Added Info: Note that we previously auctioned a similar poster to this in 2019, but that poster had slightly different measurements and different text at lower right. This could be an advertising poster or some type of commercial poster, but we are not 100% certain either way and whether it dates to 1988 (it may date in between the late 1980s and early 1990s). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here and in any case please do not bid if you are uncomfortable with the uncertainty.
