An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Ted Healy was a popular actor in the 1920s and 1930s, though he is best remembered as the guy who started The Three Stooges (originally called Ted Healy & His Stooges). He made a massive miscalculation when The Stooges asked for more money, and he thought he could simply hire replacement "stooges", and he did so, but they had little success, while the original Three Stooges went on to great fame. His most successful roles were in Bombshell, San Francisco, and Mad Love. Healy passed away in 1937 at the age of 41. He was heavily intoxicated after celebrating the birth of his son, when he fought more than one person, and was later found bleeding on a sidewalk. Healy never regained consciousness, and later died of kidney failure. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: good to very good. There is clear tape in each blank corner. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
