Popeye Cartoon, the circa late 1930s stock Swedish animated cartoon comedy short poster for Popeye cartoons. Swedish theaters could order this poster and then put the name of a specific Popeye cartoon in the box at lower left when they were showing a Popeye cartoon. Note that under the Swedish title it reads, "King of the Mardi Gras". I don't know if this is how Popeye was known in Sweden at that time, or if it has a different meaning. If anyone knows, please e-mail me, and I will post it here.
