a lot of 2 special promotional items sent by studios to theaters to try to get them to book "The Razor's Edge" in 1946. One is a postcard with the famous Norman Rockwell art on one side and full postcard printing on the other, including credit for the art. The other is a cool 20-page booklet that has the Rockwell art on the cover and has portraits of the stars on the inside, along with information about the characters they play. Of course, W. Somerset Maugham's The Razor's Edge is the 1946 Edmund Goulding romantic melodrama (nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; "Produced by Darryl F. Zanuck"; "From the Novel by W. Somerset Maugham") starring Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney, John Payne, Anne Baxter (in her Best Supporting Actress Academy Award winning role), Clifton Webb (in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role), Herbert Marshall, and Fritz Kortner
