The Guilt of Janet Ames, the 1947 Henry Levin romantic melodrama ("Was his kiss a lie?..."; "Don't condemn Janet Ames until you've seen the picture!"; a bizarre ultra-convoluted tale of a woman whose husband died saving five men, and she decides to get revenge on them, but then she is paralyzed, or is she, and one of the five men cures her through psychoanalysis, but he really isn't a psychiatrist!) starring Rosalind Russell (in the title role as Janet Ames), Melvyn Douglas, Sid Caesar, Betsy Blair, Nina Foch, and Hugh Beaumont
