An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Rin Tin Tin III was a canine German Shepherd actor from the 1940s. He only appeared in one movie: The Return of Rin Tin Tin, starring Robert 'Bobby' Blake. We don't know if he was a "blood relation" of the original Rin Tin Tin, or if in fact he was also owned by Lee Duncan, who owned Rin Tin Tin, but it seems likely. If anyone knows more about this dog, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that this still was apparently once in the estate of Lee Duncan, the soldier who brought Rin Tin Tin back from France after World War I, and who made him a star. "EX-LEE DUNCAN" is written in pencil on the back. We have no "certificate of authenticity", but we think it is extremely likely that this still came from Lee Duncan's estate. Condition: very good.
