A big city cop who knows too much. His only evidence: a small boy who's seen too much..."; "8 year old Samuel: sole witness to a murder. Three killers who'll stop at nothing to silence him. One honest cop who'll give his life to save him..."; "Harrison Ford is John Book. A big city cop. A small country boy. They have nothing in common ...but a murder."; "Story by William Kelley and Pamela Wallace & Earl W. Wallace"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a young Amish boy who witnesses a murder and is then protected by a cop) starring Harrison Ford (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Kelly McGillis (in her second movie role!), Josef Sommer, Lukas Haas, Jan Rubes, and Viggo Mortensen (in his first big screen role!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. There are faint horizontal "ripples" in the poster that are barely noticeable. These are common in rolled posters that have been stored tightly rolled for a long time.. Note that this poster came from a man who worked for Universal Studios through the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. He received many posters as samples, and saved them in wonderful condition! Some of them are alternate styles or have alternate titles. It is quite possible that some of them were only samples, and were never distributed to theaters, and some of them may be the only existing copy! Also note that this poster was never folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult!
