An Original Vintage 7" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm] Television Still (Learn More) Four O'Clock, the 1957 Alfred Hitchcock made-for-TV crime melodrama (an episode of the Suspicion television series; written by Cornell Woolrich) starring E.G. Marshall, Nancy Kelly, Richard Long, Tom Pittman, and Harry Dean Stanton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from the first showing of the 9/30/57 episode of "Suspicion" (episode titled "Four O'Clock"), which reunited Cornell Woolrich and Alfred Hitchcock after they worked together on Rear Window. It is surely one of the most difficult Alfred Hitchcock titles to find ANY movie paper on (except for those from his earliest movies, when he wrote the inter-titles). We have never auctioned anything from this TV episode that Alfred Hitchcock directed, and likely never will again! We know that for certain because it has the date printed on the snipe on the back. It is very hard to find stills from 1950s to 1970s TV episodes that are absolutely from the first release, and are surely not from a later re-broadcast. Also note that this TV still measures 7" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm]. Note that this still is from a pretty remarkable collection of 20 Alfred Hitchcock stills we were consigned (which we are auctioning in 20 separate auctions). They include ones from many of his greatest movies, and seven of them have wonderful candid images showing Hitchcock, and this is one of those seven!
