Note that this poster features colorful Otto Nielsen artwork of a pair of toucans sitting in a jungle tree. Also, note that like many airline travel posters, this artwork was re-used and determining the exact date can be difficult. Luckily, the airplane shown on the posters help to date them! SAS posters with prop planes (often a Douglas DC-6) are generally from the 1950s while jets are from the 1960s. UPDATED 05/19/2023: Note that we mentioned that this poster was mounted onto foamcore in the Condition and Important Added Info sections. However, some bidders were missing this so we have added it to the Auction Title. Because some may have missed this, we have reset the bidding on this poster. Condition: good to very good. Years ago, some collector had this poster mounted onto foamcore. While most collectors do not like this, I have seen many posters that have been mounted on foamcore for years, and it never has any ill effects on the poster, so I am not sure why there is a bias against it.
