An Unfolded Swiss Advertising Poster (measures 35 1/2" x 50 1/4" [90 x 128 cm]) (Learn More) Ovaltine (Ovomaltine) is a brand of milk flavoring product invented in 1904. It was developed in Bern, Switzerland as Ovomaltine, but in 1909 a misspelling of the name on the trademark registration application led to the name being shortened to Ovaltine in English-speaking markets. Originally advertised as consisting solely of "malt, milk, eggs, flavoured with cocoa", the formulation has changed over the decades, and today several formulations are sold in different parts of the world. Ovaltine has also been available in the form of chocolate bars, chocolate Easter eggs, parfait, cookies, and breakfast cereals! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster has a few tears of varying lengths around the edges (partially repaired with tape from the back). The image is in pretty nice condition.
