12 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

All I Desire, the 1953 Douglas Sirk family relationship romantic melodrama ("Now he knew she had known other nights like this!"; "Now he knew her as other men had!"; "Produced by Ross Hunter"; about a woman from the wrong side of the tracks who marries well, but never fits in, and she deserts her husband and two daughters to pursue an acting career but ends up a burlesque dancer and finally returns home to a very mixed reaction!) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Richard Carlson, Lyle Bettger, Marcia Henderson, Lori Nelson, Maureen O'Sullivan, and Richard Long. Note that this movie is not as classic as later Douglas Sirk/Ross Hunter productions, but it includes most of the elements from those, and Barbara Stanwyck gives her usual wonderful "bad girl" performance, two decades after she first started giving them!

THOUGH ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED, THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 12 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE (but realize that on some of these lots with 9 or more stills there may be a few duplicates, mostly on post-1960 lots)! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills.

Condition: good to very good. Several have uneven discoloration caused by snipe glue on the back at center and some degree of scuffs and creases scattered throughout.
