The Scuttlers, the 1920 J. Gordon Edwards silent seafaring ship insurance fraud melodrama ("Story by Clyde C. Westover"; about the captain of a ship who keeps losing them at sea, and an insurance company hires a detective to secretly go on board his next ship to see if he is doing it intentionally to collect the insurance money) starring William Farnum, Jackie Saunders, Herschel Mayall, G. Raymond Nye, Arthur Millett, Harry Springler, Manuel R. Ojeda, Earl Crain, Kewpie Morgan, Claire de Lorez, and Al Fremont. Note that when a ship was intentionally sunk, it was said to be "scuttled", which is the origin of the odd title of this movie (which was probably not very odd to film-goers in 1920).
