Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had tears around the edges, with some tiny bits of paper loss. It had an uneven tear with tiny paper loss in the right of Wilson' neck and slightly in his collar and lapel. It had many small stains and a few tiny areas of paper loss in the brown background areas. It had a 5" tear in the top border and a 7" tear in the bottom border. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
