A 1951 Re-release (re-titled "Texas Road Agent" for this re-release) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Road Agent, the 1941 Charles Lamont Texas cowboy western (a complicated story of three road agents who are hired to retrieve money stolen from stagecoaches, and they "hold up" the bandits and "steal" the money back from them) starring Dick Foran, Leo Carrillo (as Pancho), Andy Devine, Anne Gwynne, Richard Davies, Anne Nagel, John Gallaudet, and Samuel S. Hinds NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this movie had to have its name changed when it was re-released in 1951, because RKO had just filmed a movie with the title "Road Agent", and they wanted to avoid confusion between the two movies, so they added "Texas" to the beginning of the title. Also note that even though Dick Foran was the leader of the trio of road agents, Leo Carrillo was a bigger star in 1951, and so he was given top billing and a huge image on this re-release poster! Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases and tiny dots of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There were pinholes around the edges of the poster and paper loss in the top right blank corner. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
