An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Now and Forever, the 1934 Henry Hathaway romantic crime family relationship melodrama ("Little Miss Marker meets Prince Charming!"; "He had an unbroken record of broken hearts clear 'round the world! Be he broke his own heart... when he broke his word of 'honor bright' to a little girl... his tiny daughter he had never seen... until they met in a dream garden!"; an unusual movie for Gary Cooper, because he plays a loser who has a daughter he's never seen, and wants to sell her to the highest bidder and live with beautiful girlfriend Carole Lombard, but when he meets the girl, played by adorable Shirley Temple, he wants to keep her, but he gets involved in a robbery, and he reluctantly gives up the girl to a wealthy woman, who is the woman who owned the jewels they robbed, so that she can have a good life) starring Gary Cooper, Carole Lombard, Shirley Temple, Guy Standing, and Charlotte Granville. Note that Gary Cooper and Carole Lombard were two of the absolute most charismatic male and female stars at the time this movie was made, and yet the movie was "stolen" by their 6 year old co-star, Shirley Temple! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of 22 lobby cards that were discovered under a floor! All of the cards have darkened, and all have staining and holes (mostly around the edges). These are all extremely rare lobby cards, and any of them can be restored by an expert professional. Since a top restorer can remove much of the darkening and staining through chemical means, and since many of the defects are in the borders, these cards will look great after professional restoration, and most of them will require little paint restoration within the image. Note that this card has many scuffs and stains within the image area, including in both stars' faces, so this card would be more difficult to restore. NOTE: Most lobby cards from before 1940 (and some from after that date) did not have individual lobby card numbers like later lobby cards (those printed after the advent of NSS in 1940) did. So we have arbitrarily assigned numbers to unnumbered lobby cards, only when we sell more than one from a set, so that there is a convenient way to tell different scenes apart. (Note that we do not use #1, because this is commonly used to signify the title card). The exception to this is sets of cards that did not have title cards. Condition: good.
