An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 9 3/4" x 11 3/4" [25 x 30 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Laraine Day was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Foreign Correspondent, Stella Dallas, Mr. Lucky, The High and the Mighty, and Tarzan Finds a Son! She had a long running role as Nurse Mary Lamont opposite Lew Ayres in many of the Dr. Kildare movies. Note that many official biographies list her birth date as being in 1917, but when she signed an autograph on a trading card with a biography, she crossed out the 1917 and wrote "1920" above it, indicating she was actually three years younger than that indicated! She passed away in 2007 at the age of 87 (or was it 90?). Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Laraine Day! Our consignor is a very longtime dealer/collector who acquired this signed item in the 1970s, and kept it in his collection until now, when he is selling parts of his collection. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 9 3/4" x 11 3/4" [25 x 30 cm]. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
