An Unfolded 1993 German Commercial Poster (made to be sold directly to the public; measures 24 1/4" x 36 1/2" [62 x 93 cm]) (Learn More) Andy Warhol was an artist from the 1950s to the 1980s. He was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art, founded Interview Magazine, was the author of numerous books, managed and produced the band Velvet Underground, and his studio, The Factory, was a famous gathering place for celebrities and artists. He passed away in 1987 at the age of 58. Warhol had had gallbladder issues, which he delayed getting treated as he was scared of hospitals and doctors. Because of a previous murder attempt, as well as his age, the 'routine' surgery had significant risks, and Warhol died in his sleep after suffering from an arrhythmia. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned an example of this poster! Condition: very good to fine. The poster is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
