This Was Paris, the 1942 John Harlow World War II (WWII) France spy espionage military romantic melodrama ("Based on an original story by Gordon Wellesley and Basil Woon"; about France in 1940 right before it fell to the Nazis, and Dvorak is an American fashion designer in Paris, and she is suspected of being part of the "Fifth Column", trying to bring down France from within) starring Ann Dvorak, Ben Lyon, Griffith Jones, Robert Morley, Harold Huth, Mary Maguire, Vera Boggetti, and Harry Welchman
