Adapted from the Superman radio program."; based on the famous DC Comics comic book character) starring Kirk Alyn (in the title role as Superman/Clark Kent), Lyle Talbot (in the title role as Lex Luthor/The Atom Man), Noel Neill (who later repeated her role as Lois Lane in the TV series, after Phyllis Coates left the show), Tommy Bond (as Jimmy Olsen), Pierre Watkin (as Perry White), and Terry Frost. Note that this was the second Superman serial (the first was simply titled "Superman", and was released in 1948, with the same actors as in this serial). Important Added Info: Note that, for unknown reasons, not very many of the lobby cards from the Superman serials actually show Superman in costume, and fewer still show any sort of special effect. This great chapter 1 card has a close up of Lex Luthor foolishly attempting to shoot a regular gun at the Man of Steel! Condition: good to very good. There are many creases in the bottom 1-2" of the card, with a few creases extending higher in the right title area. There was a 1" tear in the bottom center of the card, and someone put a piece of clear tape on the back of that. There are some creases in the left 3" of the card and some tiny creases and tiny staple holes around the edges. None of the above distracts very much at all from how enjoyable this great card is, and I would think most collectors would be happy to display it on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
