SAS: Middle East, the 1959 Danish airline aviation airplane travel poster ("Colorful"; "Welcome") made by Scandinavian Airlines System to promote flying with them to visit the Middle East. Note that this poster features colorful Otto Nielsen artwork of a various points of interests in the Middle East.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The top 3" and the bottom 2" of the poster were folded back at one time. There were some smudges scattered in the background areas and some tears in the right border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
