Tomboy and the Champ, the 1961 Francis D. Lyon County Fair 4-H club girl-and-her-beloved-cow Texas cowboy western starring ("Straight from the great heart of Texas... a story to go straight to America's heart!"; "You'll fall for these two blue-ribbon All-Americans especially when they enact a daring plan against terrible odds, and with only courage to carry them on to victory, prove that champions are made... not born!") starring Candy Moore, Ben Johnson, Jesse White, "Champy, the Angus", Rex Allen ("Hear Rex Allen 'Mr. Cowboy' sing 'Get Ready With The Ribbon Judge' and 'Animals Don't Cry'"), Jesse Kirkpatrick, and Christine Smith. Note that the 4-H Clubs were founded around 1902, and the name comes from their motto ("head, heart, hands, and health"), and they were very popular in rural U.S. communities, especially in the 1920s through 1940s, but there are still millions of participants in 4-H clubs all over the world!
