An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Cartoon, the 1952 MGM animated cartoon comedy short stock poster ("Produced by Fred Quimby") that could be used by theater-owners to advertise MGM cartoons (this particular stock poster includes two of MGM's greatest cartoon characters, Tex Avery's Droopy and Barney Bear. Note that this poster has a blank area at lower right where the specific title of the film being shown could be overprinted or a snipe applied). Note that there is also a 1954 and a 1955 MGM cartoon poster (called "MGM Kartoon Karnival" and "MGM Cartoons"), and those posters do not have a blank area, so those are not stock posters like this one, and might be for a specific group of cartoons, perhaps joined in a feature. If anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. The poster has very light fold and border wear and a few tiny creases in portions of the lower vertical foldline (see our image). Overall the poster is in very nice condition!
