Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the blank top of the card was mostly trimmed off and there were some nail holes, smudges, and stains around the edges. Overall, the card was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The card was really expertly backed, and the blank top was replaced, and the border restoration was so well performed that few people would realize that it had been done, even when looking at the card from inches away!
