Adolfi post-Revolutionary War historical biography ("Based on the play by George Arliss and Mary Hamlin"; a fictionalized biography of one of the men who figured prominently in the birth of the United States, but he never became president) starring George Arliss (in the title role as Alexander Hamilton), Doris Kenyon (as Mrs. Betsy Hamilton), June Collyer, Dudley Digges, Montagu Love (as Thomas Jefferson), Lionel Belmore, and Alan Mowbray (in his fifth movie role; as George Washington!). Note that Hamilton did not figure prominently in movies or in mainstream media much over the years after this movie was made, until 2015, when a Broadway musical with music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda opened, and it was a massive success! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom crossfold, with creases around it, and tiny paper loss at the other crossfolds. It had darkening in the bottom half of the vertical fold and minor wear on the other folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
