An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Jack Oakie was an actor from the 1920s to the 1960s. Some of his roles include: The Great Dictator (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Around the World in Eighty Days, Thieves Highway, If I Had a Million, and Lover Come Back. He passed away in 1978 at the age of 74. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Jack Oakie! Note that this item was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he became friends with many Hollywood actors, and he would ask them to autograph stills for him (originals if he had them, or repros if he did not), and they obliged, usually returning the stills to him with a personalized inscription "To Ken". The family does not have a letter of authenticity for this signed item, but we feel certain it is authentic, given Mr. Jones' personal relationship with the star. Condition: very good to fine.
