An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More)

Marlene Dietrich was a very popular German actress and singer from the 1920s through the 1950s! She started in German movies in the 1920s, and then got her big break in Josef von Sternberg's "The Blue Angel", which was made in both a German and an English version. That led to a series of wonderful movies with von Sternberg. Some of her other movies include: Destry Rides Again, Shanghai Express, The Scarlet Empress, A Foreign Affair, Morocco (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Blonde Venus, Touch of Evil, Witness for the Prosecution, and Judgment at Nuremberg. She passed away in 1992 at the age of 90.

Important Added Info: Note that this still is undated, but judging from Miss Dietrich's age and appearance, it seems extremely likely it is from the very early 1930s. If anyone knows for certain, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the bottom blank corners. There was a 2" tear near the middle of the top border that was repaired with clear tape from the back and a crease in the top left corner that has a piece of clear tape on the back of it for reinforcement.
