Millarde silent family relationship crime redemption melodrama (about a woman whose father is ruined by a rich man, and she robs the poor box at a church to help him, and her father ends up dying in the priest's arms, and the rich man who caused it is horrified and decides to repay everyone he cheated or robbed, and he gives the woman the job of repaying everybody, so she goes around giving money back to poor people and criminals, and she becomes known as "The White Moll"!) starring Pearl White (in the title role as Rhoda, The White Moll), Richard Travers, Jack Baston, Walter P. Lewis, and Eva Gordon. Note that Pearl White is of course the most famous female silent serial star, but after many injuries from her roles, she decided that she wanted to quit serials, and she turned to "serious acting", but she became addicted to painkillers, and she retired in 1924 and passed away in 1938, when she was just 49.
