An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Virgin Sacrifice, the 1959 Fernando Wagner action adventure jungle fantasy thriller ("Filmed in Blazing Tropicolor!"; "A New kind of jungle drama, Actually filmed in Guatemala and featuring members of the savage Vicuni Indian tribe!"; "From Jungle Depths comes A New Kind Of Motion Picture!"; "From the Depths of the Jungle... A New Kind Of Motion Picture filmed in Guatemala"; "Based on an idea by David DaLie") starring David DaLie ("World Jungle Hunter"; the movie was very loosely based on his own experiences!), Antonio Gutierrez, Angelica Morales, Fernando Wagnar, Linda Cordova, "and featuring members of the Vicuni Indian Tribe". Note that we have seen movie paper on this title that says "Filmed in Blazing Tropicolor", and other paper that says "in Eastman Color". It was not unusual for marketers to "invent" color processes to match the movie, such as Tropicolor, Lunacolor, Specta-color, Flaming Hillbilly Color, etc.
Important Added Info: Note that we have seen two very similar title cards for this movie, but in one, the girl at right is enclosed in a box, but otherwise, the card cards are remarkably similar. If anyone knows why this was done, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is a piece of tape on the back of the center of the bottom border, but it was not put there for any restoration purpose.
