Bill Sienkiewicz is an American artist from 1980 to the present. Sienkiewicz's work in the 1980s was considered revolutionary in mainstream U.S. comics, due to his highly stylized art that verged on abstraction and made use of oil painting, photorealism, collage, mimeography and other forms generally uncommon in comic books.

Important Added Info: Note that a knowledgeable collector tells is that this image was from an 8 issue comic book mini-series called "Elektra:Assassin" that ran from August 1986 to March 1987, and this poster bears the same artwork as issue #1.
