An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Laura, the classic 1944 Otto Preminger (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic love triangle crime film noir ("The story of a love that became the most fearful thing that ever happened to a woman!"; "Adapted from the novel by Vera Caspery"; about a detective investigating the death of a gorgeous woman, and he wishes he could have known her, and then it turns out she's not dead after all!) starring Gene Tierney (in the title role as Laura Hunt), Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Vincent Price, Judith Anderson, and Lane Chandler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair. The card had some stains, tears, pinholes, and areas of surface paper loss around the edges of the card and some in the upper left of the image, including in Andrews' and Tierney's face. It appears that an amateur restorer bleached the card and then did some sort of white paint touch up to the above defects, but it was not very well done at all. In addition, it appears that the bleaching process caused the card to fade slightly (turning the few reddish colors in the card to a orange-ish or yellow-ish color. Please do not bid on this card unless you can accept the very significant defects and the amateur restoration it has had. Learn More about condition grades
